With nearly 50 active student associations, our campuses offer a lively student experience shaped by a wide range of projects: humanitarian and community initiatives, sports activities, cultural events, public speaking competitions, the student newspaper, and events organised by the BDE and BDS. These commitments help create strong connections, develop transversal skills and make the most of student life at the FLD.

Studying and living in Lille

A young and vibrant student capital, Lille stands out for its excellent accessibility (30 minutes from Brussels, 1 hour from Paris and 1 hour 30 from London), its warm atmosphere and its rich cultural offering. University life is dynamic and supported by a strong ecosystem of research, innovation and student initiatives.

Our Lille campus also offers a wide range of services: the Vauban Library (Bibliothèque Universitaire – open from Monday to Saturday), dedicated study rooms for individual or group work, various catering points, university residences and an ideal location just minutes from the city centre. Students also benefit from the chaplaincy and personalised support provided by the All Services (housing, catering, sport, health, solidarity, campus life and more).

Studying and living in Issy-les-Moulineaux

Just a stone’s throw from Paris, Issy-les-Moulineaux offers a peaceful, modern living environment with its parks, riverside pathways along the Seine and calm atmosphere. With direct access to the metro, RER, tram and bus services, the capital (and its main airports) are only minutes away.

On the Issy campus, students have access to a resource centre, open-access computer rooms, a variety of study spaces suited to both individual and group needs, as well as a catering point, a fully equipped cafeteria and outdoor areas to relax. The immediate proximity of green spaces makes this campus an enjoyable place to study every day.
