A test will verify applicants’ language level in French (level B2 or TCF superior or equal to 450 points)

Applicants from the following countries are exempt from French test:

  • Students coming from countries where French is an official language (Benin, Burkina Faso, Congo Brazzaville, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon,Guinea Conakry, Mali, Madagascar, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo)
  • Holders of DELF B2, DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) or new certificates DALF C1 & C2.
  • Students graduating from french bilingual or francophone sections

Application : step 2

If you want to join the 1st year programme, you have to apply on  Espace Admission des Facultés de l’Université Catholique de Lille.

  • Read the details of the procedure (steps 1 to 4)
  • We will examine every application on condition of receiving the whole documents to be enclosed.
  • Applications are considered with regard in particular to the level of English and knowledge in a second foreign language and international general knowledge (application file + interview + test).

Documents to be enclosed

Our faculty needs your proofs of entitlement before 15th December 2022. The date of receipt is valider than the date of sending.

  • Cover letter
  • Cover letter in English
  • Photocopies of A-level/leaving cert. grades transcript for each semester of last 2 years of study (for non Parcoursup applications).
  • Photocopies of A-level/leaving cert. grades transcript + grades transcript higher education years passed (for classic Parcoursup applications)
  • Language Tests results (toefl, toeic, ielts, first certificate in english, cervantes, goethe…) : B2 level according to the Common European Framework
  • English teacher’s reference letter (facultative)

Academic administrative registration

If your application is approved/held, register yourself on Espace Admission.

  • Your registration will be approved on condition of receipting documents to be enclosed.

Apply for a 2nd or 3rd year of Bachelor

1) Conditions of admission

Holder of the Baccalauréat or equivalent (DEC, A-Levels, High School Diploma, Abitur, Bachillerato/PAU…) + any higher education years studied

  • Bilingual bachelors of European law – Lille campus : Based on application file + interview (English, Basic knowledge in Spanish or German [B2], international and general knowledge)
  • Trilingual bachelors of European law – Issy-les-Moulineaux campus : Based on application file + interview (English, Good level in Spanish or German [B2-C1], international and general knowledge)

2) Application

  • Language Tests results (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, first certificate in english, cervantes, goethe…) : B2-C1 level according to the Common European Framework
  • €85 for application fee (credit card)
  • Summary of your application online (available on Espace Admission)
  • English teacher’s reference letter (facultative)
  • Report or thesis in relation to the diploma prepared (facultative)

4) Academic administrative registration

If your application is accepted, you will receive a document confirming your admission. From that point on, you will be able to undertake the procedures with the French Consulate in your country of residence to obtain a student visa.

Apply for a 1st or 2nd year of Master

1) Conditions of admission

1st year Master :

  • (Future) holder of a Bachelor of Law or equivalent

2nd year Master :

  • (Future) holder of a Master of Law or equivalent

2) Application

All applications for 1st year Masters must be completed on our Admission Platform before March 27 2024.
All applications for 2nd year Masters must be completed on our Admission Platform, Platform May 15 2024.

Additional documents for Masters in International Law (to be provided at the selection interview):
Letter of motivation in English
Results of language tests (toefl, toeic, ielts, first certificate in english, cervantes, Goethe…) attesting to a level of competence in foreign languages (B2/C1 according to the European grid)
Letter of recommendation from an English teacher (optional)
Report, dissertation or study related to the nature of the degree being prepared (optional)
