There is a very rich club and association movement at the FLD which creates strong links between the students. These very diverse associations bring a certain dynamism to the Faculty offering the possibility to commit to passionating causes of all kinds.

Relative to the law of 1901 on associations, the Alumni Association aims to create a network linking current students, alumni and professionals.

BDE (FLD’s Student Union)

BDE teams come and go, but they are never the same!
Nevertheless, their objective has remained identical for centuries and centuries… The BDE is there to entertain you!
Evenings, Galas, After-Work, trips, the BDE will fulfil all your desires and make you forget, for a few moments, that you have a course to prepare! So don’t forget to go and vote, to elect the BDE that suits you!

This association promotes art in all its forms through different projects such as exhibitions and art vernissages.

Business law and wine-tasting circle

This association is about learning, meeting up and chatting while being initiated into the world of wine.

Le Prétoire (The Coutroom)

The Courtroom organises fictitious correctional trials based on real cases. It offers the occasion to prosecute and to defend a client.

Joutes Oratoires (Verbal Jouste)

The “Verbal Jouste” association organizes public speaking contests and debates between students on various themes and subjects. Interacting with the audience, the objective is to work on eloquence.

ELSA Lille

ELSA seeks to contribute to students legal training and promote cooperation and encounters with practicians and legal specialists.

Humanitarian associations

Earth

Earth is a newly created student association that aims to advance environmental protection through concrete action.

Solid’Act

Solid’Act is solidarity association that advocates the human cause, it organises a number of different activities to this end such as outreach programmes, humanitarian trips or even help with homework.

Course associations

Association M2 DRM (Masters in Medical Responsibility Law)

This association of Masters 2 (year 5) students seeks to promote the values of health law through numerous events. In 2016 they organised World Aids Day event at FLD.

Cultura juris

Cultura Juris is the association of the Law and Legal Culture track. Its membership consists exclusively  of students from this track.

IELSociety (International and European Law Society)

This is the official association of the European track at FLD. Its members are exclusively IELS students (FLD European track) but its events are open to all FLD students.

Les sciencesposards

This is the association of the Faculty’s Law and Political Science Bachelors, its membership consists exclusively of students from this programme.

Sports associations

This association organizes sporting activities of all types, from jogging to rugby or even cheerleading! It also organizes grand sports events.
