{"id":35997,"date":"2026-04-03T14:06:38","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T13:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fld-lille.fr\/?p=35997"},"modified":"2026-04-03T14:06:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T13:06:38","slug":"at-the-heart-of-our-masters-programmes-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fld-lille.fr\/en\/at-the-heart-of-our-masters-programmes-2\/","title":{"rendered":"At the heart of our Master\u2019s programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Masters in Business and Competition Law &amp; Human Rights, Security and Development \u2013 Lille Campus<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>An international immersion experience with Delaware Law School<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The <strong>Faculty of Law of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille<\/strong> recently welcomed<strong> Eileen Grena-Piretti<\/strong>, Associate Dean at <a href=\"https:\/\/delawarelaw.widener.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Widener University Delaware Law School<\/strong><\/a>, who came to present the opportunities offered by the partnership between our two institutions to students on the <strong>DAC and DHSD Masters programmes<\/strong>. The event generated considerable interest, with students showing particular enthusiasm and curiosity about the idea of pursuing part of their studies abroad.<\/p>\n<p>In her presentation, <strong>Eileen Grena-Piretti<\/strong> provided a detailed overview of the programmes at <strong>Delaware Law School<\/strong>, highlighting their strengths and unique features. She also emphasised the<strong> institution\u2019s key assets<\/strong>: an outstanding academic staff, a strong international network, financial support designed to help students succeed, and a vibrant and safe campus life.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also gave participants a practical overview of the application process, tuition fees and the experiences of former students, as well as the career opportunities available, including the possibility of passing the <strong>American bar exam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This event was a great chance for our students to think about a career in the <strong>US legal system<\/strong> and to broaden their professional horizons beyond national borders.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Master in International and European Law, Business &amp; Competition Law<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The <strong>Master in International and European Law, Business and Competition Law<\/strong> offers students the choice of two specialisations: Competition Law or Corporate Finance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M1: Bilingual International and European Law \u2013 Business Law<\/li>\n<li>M2: International and European Law \u2013 Business and Competition Law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This programme includes a significant proportion of courses taught in English, led by lecturers and practitioners who are experts in international affairs.<\/p>\n<p>During the first year of the Master\u2019s programme, the focus is on competition law, contract law, intellectual property law, transport law, commercial criminal law, companies law and companies in difficulty. During the second year, the programme specialises in competition law: the key aspects of national, European and international competition law are studied (cartels, abuse of a dominant position, mergers, state aid, comparative competition law, competition law procedures, etc.).<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fld-lille.fr\/en\/course\/llm-international-european-law-business-competition-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAMME<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Master in International and European Law, Human Rights, Security and Development<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The <strong>Master in International and European Law, Human Rights, Security and Development<\/strong> offers an in-depth understanding of international law with a progressive specialisation in human rights.
