The event fully embodies the mission of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille to contribute, through higher education and research, to building a more just and inclusive world.<\/p>\n<h4><span light markdown-new-styling\">\n<p data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1284\">That same week, the <strong>Faculty of Law<\/strong> is delighted to welcome <strong>Professor Taras Leshkovych<\/strong>, a lecturer and researcher at the <strong>Ukrainian Catholic University<\/strong>, for a teaching mobility programme supported by <strong>Erasmus+<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1616\">A Doctor of Public Law and specialist in public international law, human rights, international humanitarian law and international criminal law, Taras Leshkovych will deliver a series of lectures throughout the week, focusing on current international legal developments, particularly in relation to the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1785\">His lectures are open to diverse audiences within the Faculty, from undergraduate to postgraduate students, as well as academic staff, and focus key themes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"2283\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1al33de\" data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"1920\">International responsibility and the classification of the crime of aggression in the context of the conflict in Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"6u87bc\" data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2019\">Legal proceedings brought by Ukraine against Russia before international courts;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"nx9sri\" data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2112\">The functioning of the Ukrainian legal system during the state of emergency linked to the war;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1qdhw36\" data-start=\"2113\" data-end=\"2172\">State responsibility in the armed conflict with Russia;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"tcn0yi\" data-start=\"2173\" data-end=\"2283\">Relations between the European Union and Ukraine, particularly in the areas of trade, defence and accession.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2380\">A research seminar is also being held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c3rd.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>C3RD<\/strong><\/a>, providing a valuable forum for discussion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2382\" data-end=\"2635\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Through this event, the Faculty of Law reaffirms its commitment to the <strong>internationalisation of both its teaching and research<\/strong>, fostering academic exchanges,
