Being a <strong>faculty of excellence<\/strong> also means <strong>being attuned to the present<\/strong>, <strong>open to the world<\/strong> and<strong> sensitive to contemporary challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In a world that is constantly evolving<\/strong>, we move forward with <strong>discernment<\/strong> and <strong>commitment<\/strong>, cultivating an attitude that is <strong>open<\/strong>, <strong>responsible<\/strong> and <strong>grounded in reality<\/strong>. Our mission is to<strong> support our students<\/strong> in their legal training while helping them understand the dynamics of the society in which they live.<\/p>\n<p>We prepare them to become not only skilled legal professionals but also <strong>engaged citizens<\/strong>, <strong>aware of their responsabilities<\/strong>. This means thinking about law in all its dimensions: <strong>human, social and ethical<\/strong>. To this end, we promote dialogue between <strong>academic tradition<\/strong> and<strong> pedagogical innovation<\/strong>, between <strong>intellectual rigour<\/strong> and <strong>commitment to the common good<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a university that places the<strong> human person at the heart of its mission<\/strong>, our Faculty evolves in step with<strong> global transformations<\/strong>. This modernity is reflected in our teaching methods: <strong>digital tools, internships, work-study programmes, collaboratives approaches and immersive experiences<\/strong>. It is also reflected in the way we see our role in society.<\/p>\n<p>Our <strong>Service-Learning initiatives<\/strong>, such as the Bus de l&#8217;Acc\u00e8s au Droit (legal access bus), the Cellule Fiscale (tax support unit), the Clinique de la M\u00e9diation (mediation clinic) and Au service de nos a\u00een\u00e9s (supporting our elders project), clearly show our desire to <strong>connect knowledge and action<\/strong>. They offer our students opportunities to <strong>put their skills into practice<\/strong>, while opening their eyes to <strong>human realities<\/strong> that are sometimes complex and often little-known.<\/p>\n<p>Through these initiatives, we share the idea that<strong> law is not merely theoretical knowledge<\/strong>, but also <strong>a means of better understanding the world<\/strong>, <strong>engaging in dialogue and acting with fairness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Faculty of Law of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille, we are firmly convinced that legal education cannot be dissociated from the realities shaping our society.
