The <strong>second session, taking place from 26 June to 24 July 2025, will once again be held at the Faculty of Law of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille<\/strong>, in the Robert Schuman building.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Students from around the world<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This second session stands out due to its number of participants: <strong>259 students<\/strong> (compared with 166 in the first session), <strong>from over 30 partner universities and representing more than 20 different nationalities<\/strong>, have come to Lille for this immersive experience. It reflects the <strong>programme&#8217;s growing popularity<\/strong> among young people from across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>The programme offers over <strong>20 courses<\/strong>, taught <strong>in English and French<\/strong>, <strong>covering a wide range of disciplines<\/strong> including law, international relations, communication, sustainable development, engineering and human sciences. These courses are delivered by <strong>professors from the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille<\/strong> and <strong>around fifteen guest lecturers from various countries<\/strong>. Each student can earn <strong>ECTS credits<\/strong> at the end of the session.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Activities for full immersion<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Beyond academic enrichment, <strong>the ESP fosters lasting intercultural connections.<\/strong> Each session is a space for <strong>sharing<\/strong>, <strong>dialogue<\/strong>, and <strong>mutual discovery<\/strong>. Students take part in <strong>educational visits<\/strong> (to courts, European institutions, companies, museums, etc.), as well as <strong>convivial events<\/strong> such as <strong>international evenings<\/strong> and <strong>regional gastronomic tastings<\/strong>. Highlights of this new session include a visit to the famous <strong>Wazemmes market<\/strong>, a <strong>treasure hunt around Lille<\/strong>, trips to the <strong>Piscine Museum<\/strong> in Roubaix and the <strong>Louvre-Lens<\/strong>, and an excursion to<strong> Bruges, in Belgium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This wide range of experiences offers not only knowledge, but also opportunities to build strong human connections, creating a vibrant <strong>student community united by curiosity<\/strong> and a desire<strong> to learn from one another<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>An event true to our university&#8217;s values<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>As the <strong>Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille celebrates its 150th anniversary<\/strong> and the <strong>European Summer Programme its 25th year<\/strong>, this new session reaffirms our institution&#8217;s <strong>longstanding commitment to international<\/strong>,<strong> inclusive<\/strong>, and <strong>forward-thinking education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session 2 officially begins on 26 June<\/strong> with an orientation brunch, campus tours and team-building activities.
