In the coming days, Hayao Miyazaki et le droit. Du r\u00eave \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9<\/u><\/em><\/strong> will be published at the PUAM, Coll. Inter-normes. An outstanding book whose original treatment allows a different approach to the law and to Miyazaki’s work thanks to Micha\u00ebl Laref’s sharp legal eye.<\/p>\n

Indeed, Miyazaki’s stories show the whole range of social relations<\/strong>, often mixing human and animal law, and behind his works is hidden a vision of Law and the question of the regulation of social relations. This work, which is inspired by a “wonderful world”, speaks of our society, and therefore of our rights.<\/p>\n

As Micha\u00ebl Laref<\/strong> explains very well, after making a first comparative analysis of Miyazaky’s work in the light of Sir Conan Doyle’s<\/strong>, in which he addresses the theme of evidence in criminal and civil law from the perspective of fundamental rights<\/strong>. But it is also a very beautiful anthropomorphic approach to Miyazaki’s work<\/strong> and to the too often forgotten link between human law and animal law.<\/strong> His analysis also suggests ways in which the processes relating to animal law could evolve<\/strong>. The search for evidence through animals, but above all, the entry of animals into criminal proceedings to help the victim’s testimony<\/strong>. Experiments are underway in some police stations and before some investigating judges.<\/p>\n

This fascinating work brings together the enriched proceedings of<\/strong> the 4th colloquium and therefore of the 4th book of which he had the pleasure of ensuring the scientific and material co-direction alongside E. Netter, Professor at the University of Avignon, Y. Basire, MCF at the CEIPI, University of Strasbourg and Hania Kassoul, MCF at the Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur.<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 1600 people attended this last conference and 900 more connected online. To date, the book has been the subject of 13 contributions, including that of Micha\u00ebl Laref.<\/strong><\/p>\n
