{"id":21501,"date":"2022-10-26T09:41:50","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T08:41:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fld-lille.fr\/?p=21501"},"modified":"2022-10-26T09:41:50","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T08:41:50","slug":"learning-to-learn-can-be-learned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fld-lille.fr\/en\/learning-to-learn-can-be-learned\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning to learn can be learned!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sophie Bernhardt<\/strong>, teacher and Head of the disability mission at the Faculty of Law of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille, was invited on the <strong>6:30pm France 3 programme<\/strong> on Monday 11th October to discuss <strong>the transition unity established by the Faculty of Law of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille<\/strong>, including <strong>the module &#8220;Learn how to Learn&#8221;<\/strong> for our 1st year bachelors students.<\/p>\n<p>First Faculty of France to use this method, Sophie works closely with <strong>Caroline Vendeville<\/strong>, Assistant Professor and Head of the Law and Legal Culture Degree in order to help our new university students to <strong>understand the expectations of higher education right down to the way their courses work, the expectations of their teachers, the proper use of their brains by relying on methods and reflexes that allow them to progress and develop quickly and well.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This transition unity, that lasts for 5 weeks, focuses on <strong>all the means to be implemented to succeed<\/strong> in the first year of the degree, <strong>all this while gaining autonomy and relying on the right habits<\/strong> to integrate a campus whose requirements are quite different from their former high school. The importance of individual and group work, learning how to research documents, support on learning points that block certain students, nothing is left out so that they can evolve while flourishing.<\/p>\n<p>In this interview, Sophie Bernhardt mentions once again <strong>how important it is for the Faculty of Law of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille to support all its students<\/strong> in their learning path, in order to make them fulfilled lawyers in their professional and personal lives.
